The milspec recorder/DVR chassis is engineered for strength, with both the chassis and top cover milled from a single billet of aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy—the same material used in the US military’s M4 carbine. Strong? Absolutely.
Additionally, our military video recorders log GPS data with the video. This data can be overlaid onto the video stream, saved in a separate .GPX, .KML, or ASCII file, or both—providing flexibility in data management.
